These shorts are very slim through the hip. I measured myself before ordering and they technically did fit. I find even after losing weight they are a bit tight in the hips. If you wish to sit cross legged in them they are tight. I would recommend for a bit more room to size up. I do love them, it’s nice to have shorts that stay cool, and they are very soft. I’d buy another pair
I love the light material so it’s much more comfortable without getting too hot. I can actually sleep with a blanket and pajamas now lol!
